The Regionale is a tri-national exhibition project that transcends national borders. This year, the twenty-sixt edition of the Regionale will take place from November 27, 2025 to January 4, 2026. 18 exhibition spaces from the Basel region, Alsace and South Baden will present works by almost 200 artists. They will address pressing contemporary issues in a variety of ways and across various genres.

The Regionale has been promoting exchange between artists, curators and the public for over twenty years. In a world with many polarizing opinions, the Regionale offers a platform for differentiated exchange, for networking and brings international social debates to the region. The collaboration between the various exhibition spaces from Switzerland, Germany and France not only strengthens the artists and the local art scene, but also enriches the cultural dynamic.

The Regionale organization stands for diversity, inclusion and justice and is open to a plurality of participating artists with different social histories, backgrounds, ages and experiences.
